Upon return from a six-week college program in Ghana, Kelly Grainger started feeling tired and complaining of headaches and occasional fevers. When Kelly's fever spiked and she developed hallucinations and chills, her parents brought her to Cohen Children's Medical Center. Kelly was diagnosed with a severe case of malaria.
