What We Treat

Pediatric Critical Care Treatment

When your child needs pediatric critical care treatment, you can put your trust in our caring, dedicated and professional pediatric intensive care staff. Each year the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Cohen Children’s Medical Center admits about 1600 children who need varying levels of pediatric critical care treatment.

Members of the division have special training and expertise in utilizing a wide range of modern high-tech therapies, such as extracorporeal life support, high frequency oscillatory ventilation, invasive hemodynamic monitoring and renal replacement therapy.

Our staff is actively involved in research programs, with main interests in airway management, mechanical ventilation and critical care therapeutics
